Movie: Dadnapped

Hmm... where should I start with this movie? Well, first things first, it's a Disney Channel Original Movie, so you really wouldn't expect it to be absolutely amazing. I really only watched it for the cast, as it starred many of famous Disney Channel Stars such as Emily Osment, Jason Earles, David Henrie, Moises Arias and Phill Lewis. It was kinda nice to see Emily Osment do a role other than Hannah Montana's best friend. In Dadnapped, Emily Osment plays a girl named Melissa Morris who has a busy writer as a father. Throughout this movie, Melissa battles an inner antagonist, the fictional character in her dad's book, Tripp Zoome, as well as the "dadnappers", Maurice (Phill Lewis) and Skunk (Charles Halford).

Dadnapped really is a fun filled movie for younger children. As I see with recent Disney shows, having all sorts of goo slammed into the faces of celebrities seems to appeal to the younger generation, so if you like that, you'll like this movie, since there's tons of that. This movie also contained the typical smart bad guy and dumb bad guy, which seems to be common in Disney movies, or well, any movie designed for children.

Now for the things that I didn't like about the movie. The plot, well, it's not that I didn't like it, but it really wasn't outstanding. I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but if you think about it after you finish watching the movie, what Wheeze (David Henre), Andre (Moises Arias) and Sheldon (Denzel Whitaker) did at the carwash kind of lacked logic. Well, I dunno, maybe it's normal for crazy fans, who knows.

So all in all, it was a decent Disney Channel movie, it gets boring at times, but yeah, like I said, it's a Disney Channel movie.
